3mikron is a unique laser technology, based on diode pumped solid state lasers (DPSS lasers), which are operating with different laser crystals (for example Er:YAG, Er:YSGG, Ho:YAG, Ho:Tm:YAG) in the wavelength of 2 to 3 µm. Especially in the medical field, Er:YAG lasers emitting at 2940 nm are of special interest as this wavelength corresponds to the maximum level of water absorption. 3mikron´s diode pumped Er:YAG lasers have several advantages over standard flash lamp pumped systems like compactness, efficiency, speed, and reliability. Furthermore, material processing industry benefits from the innovative systems due to the variety of wavelengths which can be gained thru customization, opening up a wide range of potential applications. Even though our core competence are pulsed laser systems within the 2 to 3 µm wavelength range, we are always looking for new challenges and are happy to review all requests.
